Day 1: From Gouvia Marina to Kanoni
Your journey begins at Gouvia Marina, just outside Corfu Town. You board your yacht and meet your crew over a welcome drink. After a short briefing, the yacht sets sail along the eastern coastline. You pass by the Old Fortress and the pastel-colored buildings of Corfu Town, then head toward Kanoni. This area offers a perfect view of Mouse Island (Pontikonisi) and the Vlacherna Monastery. You anchor nearby for your first night, dining on deck as planes land just overhead and the city lights reflect softly on the sea.
Day 2: Down the coast to the Blue Lagoon and Sivota
After breakfast, you cruise south along Corfu’s lush coastline toward the Greek mainland. Your destination is the Blue Lagoon near Sivota, a magical anchorage with vivid turquoise water. You stop for swimming and snorkeling, then explore nearby sea caves. In the afternoon, you approach the harbor of Sivota or drop anchor off one of the quiet bays nearby. The evening is perfect for a local fish dinner either ashore or prepared by your onboard chef.
Day 3: Sivota to Lakka on Paxos
You cross the channel toward Paxos, a tiny island full of charm. Your stop is Lakka, a protected bay known for its clear waters and green surroundings. The village is laid-back, with tavernas and coffee shops lining the shore. You swim off the boat, paddleboard around the bay, and wander into town. As the sun sets, you enjoy cocktails on deck or a local meal under the olive trees.
Day 4: Lakka to Gaios with coastal exploration
Today you sail along Paxos’s dramatic western coast, where steep limestone cliffs drop into the sea. The yacht hugs the shore, stopping at sea caves and hidden beaches only accessible by boat. Later, you enter the narrow channel into Gaios, Paxos’s small capital. You moor along the promenade, steps away from bakeries, artisan shops, and tavernas. The evening is yours to explore the lively streets or relax on board with a glass of local wine.
Day 5: Antipaxos escape
A short sail brings you to Antipaxos, known for its bright blue waters and two stunning beaches Voutoumi and Vrika. You anchor off the coast and spend the day swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying lunch served on deck. There are no real towns here, just raw beauty and peace. By evening, you can return to Gaios or stay overnight at anchor under a sky full of stars.
Day 6: Northeast Corfu and Agni Bay
Leaving Paxos behind, you head back toward Corfu’s northeast coast. Your target is Agni Bay, a quiet cove lined with waterfront tavernas. On the way, you might stop for a swim in Kalami or Kerasia. At Agni, the boat can moor just meters from your dinner table. The water is calm and glassy, and the mood is peaceful. It’s a favorite for yacht travelers seeking a more relaxed pace.
Day 7: Return to Gouvia Marina
Your last morning is unhurried. You sail slowly back toward Gouvia, passing Corfu Town once more. There’s time for a final swim or breakfast on deck before you return to the marina. You say goodbye to your crew, already thinking about the next time you’ll set sail through the Ionian.
