Hidden Beaches By Boat

Corfu’s coastline is full of surprises but the island’s most magical beaches can’t be reached by car or on foot. They hide behind cliffs, sit at the end of sea caves, or unfold quietly under high rock formations, waiting for those who approach from the sea.

These are the beaches you’ll never find on a road map. And the only way to get there? By boat.

Stelari Beach

Located south of Paleokastritsa, Stelari is a long stretch of white pebbles framed by sheer cliffs and thick forest. There’s no path leading here only the sea. Arriving by private yacht or tender, you’ll likely find yourself alone. The water is emerald, the seabed pure, and the silence complete.

Paradise Beach (Chomi)

This aptly named beach sits below the vertical limestone cliffs of western Corfu. It’s wide, blindingly white, and inaccessible from land. Chomi is a dream at midday when the sun lights up the white stones and the sea glows bright turquoise. A perfect stop for swimming, sunbathing, or lunch served on deck.

Limni Beach

Near Liapades, Limni is a narrow double bay that looks like a lagoon from above. The beach is barely visible from the cliffs, and no road leads to it. Boats anchor in the calm waters between the two sides, where the surrounding hills create a perfect wind shelter. Ideal for paddleboarding and snorkeling.

Myrtiotissa Coves

While the main beach of Myrtiotissa is accessible by a steep path, several smaller coves to the north are completely hidden and unreachable by land. These tiny bays are backed by wild vegetation and sheer rock. From a yacht or tender, you can explore each inlet in total privacy, far from the crowds.

Arkoudilas South

Cape Arkoudilas hides a long, untouched stretch of beach that continues beyond the main area accessible from the cliffs above. The southern tip is remote, wind-protected, and backed by forest. Anchoring here offers a rare sense of wilderness just sea, sand, and birdsong.

Vrika and the Eastern Antipaxos Coves

On the east coast of Antipaxos, beyond the famous beaches, are smaller hidden coves where yachts anchor away from the daily crowds. These spots are shallow, calm, and ideal for a full day of relaxed swimming and quiet time on board.

Exploring Corfu’s hidden beaches by boat isn’t just about escape — it’s about access to a side of the island few ever see. With a private yacht and experienced crew, the Ionian reveals its best secrets — quietly, slowly, beautifully.
